THE CONFIDENCE TRICK
A COMEDY ROMANCE IN THE EALING TRADITION
THE CONFIDENCE TRICK is a fast-paced, original comedy romance in the style of Passport to Pimlico and The Lavender Hill Mob: A seemingly hapless bunch of misfits fighting back against big business and small-time crooks. It has all the elements of a classic Ealing comedy: An insurmountable problem, earnest protagonists, horribly obvious villains, an atmospheric location, strange locals, and of course… The Cad!
In development with Northern Ireland Screen. Adrian Dunbar to direct.
